Saffron Lempriere has bravely opened up on her agonising miscarriage and revealed the reason why she shared heartbreaking hospital pictures.
The TOWIE star lost her unborn child three years ago and has decided to speak about her trauma to mark Baby Loss Awareness Week. Gemma Collins' former BFF said she wanted to talk about her devastation in an attempt to help others struggling.
Taking to Instagram, her emotional post included a mention of baby loss charity Tommy's, describing the "pain" she suffered back in 2020. She put together a candid post on her Story to let fans in on her suffering and wrote: "I share so many 'perfect' moments on here. This was 2020.

Saffron wants to help others who are struggling (GC Images)"I've never publicly spoken about this because a lot of pain personally came at this time for different reasons de we all have a private life however I think it's very important to share with you I relate if your feeling lost or in pain. This is normal to speak about normal to feel emotional about and so important to seek support sending you all love @tommys. I stand by everyone trying to do better and improving the support & services that are needed after a loss." [sic]
It comes after Saffron addressed her reported feud with ex best friend Gemma earlier this summer. She spoke out after The GC savaged the TOWIE cast – branding them "terrible" and "boring".

Saffron told the Sun: "My ex, I was with him for two years. I met him in Spain and it was a bit of a whirlwind. But before I knew her, when Gemma was 21, she went on three dates with him, twelve years before. I didn't know! I told her, 'I've started seeing someone'. I think maybe she always had a bit of a thing for him. She was like: 'Nah, I am not having it'."
"We’ve never spoken since," Saffron added. "We were like sisters. We were so, so close. But it has been three years now since we spoke. It really hurt me at the time," she said. Saffron previously appeared with Gemma on the latter's 2018 ITVBe show Diva Espana before then going on to join Gemma on TOWIE that same year. Speaking last year, Saffron revealed the pair's friendship had reached its end.
"Me and Gemma were good friends for a long time. I worked with her in the clothing and we were good friends. We were like sisters really and we rowed like sisters as well as loved like sisters," she told FUBAR radio. At the time, Saffron refused to explain why she and Gemma were no longer friends. She added: "There is reasons but I'm not willing to discuss them. We've gone our own separate ways. She's successful, I wish her all the happiness, best and that's it." Gemma shot to fame on TOWIE before landing gigs with the likes of ITV Dancing On Ice and also ITV I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
