Strictly fans want to give Bobby Brazier 'a hug' after 'sad' admission

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left emotional for Bobby Brazier on Sunday night as he made a "sad" admission during the results show.

It comes as the EastEnders star, 20, left viewers concerned on Saturday night as he appeared downcast with many commenting "something's not right". On Sunday's results show, Eddie Kadi and Jody Cundy were announced for the dance-off with the latter later leaving the show.

After Eddie, 40, and his pro partner Karen Hauer were announced for the dance-off, host Claudia Winkleman pointed out that Bobby appeared "sad". Claudia, 51, said: "You were quite sad there when Eddie was announced you two get on so brilliantly. I'm sorry to bring it up again but as the competition goes on, it gets hard, right?"

To which Bobby emotionally admitted: "Yeah, I've got a lot to say about Eddie. He's such a sweetheart! He's a nice person to be around, whenever I feel like I wanna let something off my chest about training or something, Eddie is the first person I say something too!"

Bobby's pro partner, Dianne Buswell, then joked: "Not Dianne!" with Bobby quipping in response: "Dianne is driving me nuts!" Viewers were quick to react to the moment with one writing: "#strictly bless bobby him and eddie are so close you can see that by his reaction..." with crying emojis while another added: "I just want to give Bobby a hug #Strictly."

It comes as Bobby took to the dance floor with partner, Dianne, 34, sporting a sharp red suit, tangoing to David Bowie's Fashion on Saturday night. However, after a mixed reception from the judges in which Motsi Mabuse said the couple had "lost the entertainment factor", fans were concerned.

When asked by host Claudia how he was feeling after the performance, Bobby said: "It's been emotional. So, so emotional. All week. But closing the show is a great privilege." Dianne added: "It was really difficult. I pushed you [Bobby] musically. That song is not easy to hear and you worked so hard to be able to hear the music." She added: "But he's just been a massive rock this week so thank you," before embracing her partner while fighting back tears.
