Emmerdale fans are convinced they've figured out Craig Reed's downfall as Lydia Dingle bravely confronted her evil rapist last week.
Viewers were horrified in recent scenes as Lydia was raped by Craig in their work office. Prior to this, Craig and Lydia had bumped into each other after decades apart, having not seen each other since they were young teens. Craig and Lydia grew up in the same children's home years ago, where Lydia, real name Jenny, fell pregnant aged 15. Lydia gave birth alone but tragically the baby, Toby, was stillborn. Realising her baby had died, Lydia buried him in a woodland and ran away.
In recent episodes, Lydia has been in turmoil and has not told anyone about her rape ordeal, only confiding in Kim Tate. Craig has denied raping her and instead claimed it was consensual. With Lydia in a bad way, Craig even begun showing up at her house and harassing her to stop her exposing what he did to her.

On Thursday, Sam headed to Craig's office to confront the evil rapist where he was soon joined by Mandy and Lydia. As Craig continued to deny raping Lydia, lying that it was "consensual", Lydia snapped and confronted him before reporting him to the police. However, fans were left distracted during the scenes as they noticed Craig's receptionist looked suspiciously at Craig.
