'Quiet and luxurious' baby name surges in popularity for boys

Deciding on a baby name can take a lot of time and thought, it can be a battle choosing a name for your child that isn't too common but also not unusual enough people will hate it. Experts have already begun looking ahead to next year, and they predict a rise in traditional names.

Traditional names, unisex names as well as what experts are describing as "quiet and luxurious" names will all rise up the charts. Although it is common to see name trends influenced by different societal shifts - from huge celebrities and TV shows, there are now signs that parents are starting to think about what message their child's names will give off, and some of preferring to keep things simple.

Name expert and Nameberry creator Pamela Redmond, said: "Today's parents are fixated on sending the right messages with the names they choose. The perfect baby name for 2024 is one that is ahead of the style curve, personally significant, and identity-defining". A trend to look out for in 2024, according to Pamela is "quiet and luxurious" names.

These names will ooze glamour and class. The aesthetic names appear to be effortless and chic, and the 'old money' trend has made these names surge in popularity. Topping the list of the most popular for this trend is Archie. The name has German origin meaning "truly brave", according to NameExpert.

The most well-known Archie in recent years is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex Harry and Meghan. Other names which make up the popular "quiet and luxurious" name list, include:
