Khloe Kardashian’s fans and critics didn’t need to attend her Halloween party to get a fright, and that's because the photos shared online of the decorations were more than enough.
The 39-year-old mum-of-two threw a typically OTT bash for the younger members of the Kardashian-Jenner family, transforming her $17m mansion with huge balloon arches and setting up enormous tables with spooky crafts and snacks. Khloe’s children, True, 5, and Tatum, 1, were in attendance, as well as their cousins including Dream, 6, and Reign, 8.
But as usual, there were plenty of naysayers who had strong thoughts about the cute event - and in particular, the amount of waste the balloon arches would create.

The kids were kept occupied with crafting activities (Instagram/Khloe Kardashian)A discussion broke out on Reddit, with one user saying: "They love excess and waste. They love plastic. So much so, that they are now one with plastic. But seriously, they are better off still having parties but not ones that are ridiculously extravagant, and donate the rest. That will be more memorable for their children."

Others also were dismayed by the balloons. One posted: "Do they ever get tired of all these f**king balloons? They have these stupid decorations for every single event they host. I just don’t get it. Like all this waste for what? What do the balloons really add to the party? Isn’t a good party really only about the company you keep anyway?
"Oh right. They’re all sad, empty and completely devoid of any real personality so they have to fill the void with plastic and waste."

They mused: "I love balloons, but this is so much unnecessary waste that it should be illegal. Like why can't you just put two little bunches at the side of the table? It would be festive enough for the kids, and that way you saved like 400 balloons. It's always so over the top."
Khloe posted plenty of videos to her Instagram page, and it seems that all the girls came dressed as black cats. One clip showed an arts and crafts table, where Khloe's oldest, True, five, is also dressed like a cat. She has an apron on as she opens a bottle of gold glitter glue and her mum asks her to meow for the camera.

Dream put her paws up for Aunty KoKo (Instagram/ Khloe Kardashian)In front of True and the other kids is a tray of beads, stickers, and other arts and crafts items. The kids also appear to be making slime, as one video shows Reign, eight, mixing pink goo together in a bowl while talking about Fortnite. Reign is the son of Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe's sister, who's rumoured to give birth to her fourth child any day now.
Other Kardashian children make an appearance in Khloe's story. Kim Kardashian's oldest, North, ten, can be seen jumping on a trampoline with True and two other kids.
The last video shows True near the pool, running around after bubbles while Latch by Disclosure and Sam Smith play in the background. Neither Khloe nor any of the elder Kardashian sisters make appearances, just the kids.
