Strictly fans say 'something's not right' after noticing Bobby Brazier

Strictly Come Dancing viewers declared 'something wasn't right' after watching Bobby Brazier on the show last night.

The EastEnders star, 20, took to the dance floor with partner, Dianne Buswell, 34, sporting a sharp red suit, tangoing to David Bowie's Fashion. However, after a mixed reception from the judges in which Motsi Mabuse said the couple had "lost the entertainment factor", fans were concerned.

When asked by host Claudia Winkleman how he was feeling after the performance, Bobby said: "It's been emotional. So, so emotional. All week. But closing the show is a great privilege."

Dianne added: "It was really difficult. I pushed you [Bobby] musically. That song is not easy to hear and you worked so hard to be able to hear the music." She added: "But he's just been a massive rock this week so thank you," before embracing her partner while fighting back tears.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer said: "Bobby seemed sad even before the judges comments… hope he’s ok #strictly." Another asked: "Are Bobby and Dianne ok? They look very emotional #strictly." A third echoed: "Bobby looks a bit sad hope he’s ok #Strictly." While a fourth said: "What was wrong with Dianne and Bobby? They looked so off with each other. Normally they're great together #strictly."

However, others felt the actor has an unfair disadvantage in the competition because of his height. One said: "That was good. I love Bobby but he’s so tall…I can’t help feeling he needed a taller dancer. Think it affects his frame at times." While another agreed, saying: "Bobby is WAY too tall for his partner … #strictly."

Bobby's comments from the judges weren't all bad, with Shirley Ballas telling the actor he had a "lovely flex in the knees" and Anton Du Beke praising his hold. However, they both felt Bobby's frame needed 'more stillness and sharpness'.

The former model was supported by his dad Jeff Brazier, who was seen on camera supporting from the audience. Jeff's sons Bobby and Freddie share a very close bond after tragically losing their mum, Jade Goody, when they were still children after the Big Brother star died from cancer in 2009.

Jade is still regarded as one of the most legendary housemates in the Big Brother house after the former dental nurse from Bermondsey rose to fame on the third series of the reality show when it was on Channel 4 in 2002, when she was just 20 years old. She finished in fourth place on the series, which also included stars such as Alison Hammond, Kate Lawler and Adele Roberts.
