Strictly's Adam Thomas is on a mission to prove his moves on the dance floor as he appears on the popular competition, Strictly Come Dancing. However, many had wondered whether he was getting tips and tricks from his professional dancer wife, Caroline Daly. But, the star recently revealed that she has been tight-lipped.

Despite the lack of help from his wife, Adam, alongside his professional dance partner Luba Mushtuk, has been impressing the judges and audiences with their electrifying performances. The duo stunned the viewers with their Mario and Luigi-inspired jive, earning a comfortable score of 26 points.

Adam's wife Caroline, a professional dancer and owner of her own dance school, guides her students with her expert advice. However, Adam stated that she has not shared any tips with him, leaving him to learn the moves on his own. "None whatsoever," he told reporters at the Strictly studios. "I wish she had but no, not yet."

The Emmerdale actor also took to social media to share about his wife's lack of tips for dancing. He told his fans: "I said this to my wife the other day, the fact that my wife is a dance teacher, and I have never learnt how to dance just baffles me, but then she said to me that I haven't taught her how to act either. I have had no dance experience, so this is definitely a first for me but again, I am excited to learn and get out there and do my thing."

Despite the initial struggles, Adam impressed the judges with his jive and made it through to week four of the competition. However, judge Craig Revel Horwood criticised Adam for his lack of sharpness and retraction, so the actor knows he has to up his game if he wants to stay in the competition.

Earlier this year, the TV star revealed he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis - a long-term condition that causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints - and has frequently been spotted wearing a support on his wrist. On Tuesday, Adam shared a health update with fans as he took to social media.

Sharing a photograph of himself via Instagram Stories, the actor - who is currently starring in a revived series of hit BBC show Waterloo Road - explained that he was getting some more tests to help better treat his medical condition. The photo showed him in hospital with a strap around his arm and pieces of medical equipment behind him.

Adam bravely flashed a smile and shared a short statement confirming that he was keeping optimistic about his condition. He wrote alongside the snap: “One day I will get my arthritis under control but until then... more bloods and more doctors. Staying strong.”

It was back in August that Adam first went public with news of his painful health condition - revealing he had been struggling with symptoms since the beginning of the year. He wrote online at the time: “I’ve been in a lot of pain since January, it started with my knees and then traveled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes.

“I never knew what was happening and finally after several blood tests and back and forth to doctors and hospitals, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis! I thought that was something people, later on in there life get… but that’s not the case, clearly!”

He went on to explain that he felt his symptoms were improving after he had been diagnosed and granted treatment. And he has been keeping fans and social media followers updated on his progress in the weeks since.
