As the future King and Queen, the Wales' relationship may come across as picture-perfect, but as most spouses the couple are bound to have their share of arguments. While Kate has shown their banterous side with her hilarious 'baldy' nickname for her husband, she has another normal method of dealing with Prince William's 'tantrums'.
It seems the couple argue just like any other husband and wife, not always seeing eye-to-eye. That's according to royal author, Tom Quinn, who dived into a host of details surrounding the pair's private life. Interviewing sources who have previously worked for the future King and Queen, including palace aides, he uncovered that Kate has a very nifty way of dealing with her husband's 'outbursts'.
It's reported that Kate treats William like "the fourth child because he's prone to tantrums", said Quinn as the couple supposedly have 'terrific' squabbles. "They have rows. It's not a perfect marriage", as Quinn pens an insider scoop of the royals' love life.
Quinn goes on to clarify that although some couple's arguments may be harsh, the same can't be said for the Wales', as their way of letting frustrations out during heated arguments involves 'throwing cushions at each other, not vases' according to Quinn who spoke to former aides close to the couple.

Insight into the behind-the-scenes of the pair's life shows the couple are down to earth, something which the couple have spoken openly about before. During their 2010 engagement interview, the love birds shared a little glimpse into their relationship, one of the first times they had in public.

During the interview, William revealed that they "had a very fun time together" and had a"good sense of humour about things" a hint that they tackled any disagreements in a lighthearted way. He said: "We're down to earth, we take the mickey out of each other a lot, and she's got plenty of habits that make me laugh that I tease her about."
After 12 years of marriage, it appears the practical approach to home life is something that's been extended to supporting his three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis. Prince William's relationship with his children is mentioned in Omid Scobie and Carole Durand's book Finding Freedom.
After decades together it seems their commitment to each other is still going strong. According to the book the Prince of Wales is "involved in every aspect of raising his three children - including school drop-off and pickup, as well as homework."
