Over the years, there has been an increase in secret 'beauty hacks' and people have been sharing their easy tricks. From DIY face masks to quick and easy makeup techniques, it's made our lives much easier.

There's no denying it can get expensive when it comes to beauty and self-care products, and with the huge range of items on offer, it can all add up. However, one woman has shared how her homemade hair product saw her hair grow to her waist - and she only used two kitchen cupboard ingredients. Phuong Pham a trainee trichologist, specialising in hair and scalp shared how easy it is to promote hair growth at home.

Showing off her long and silky hair, the specialist revealed that cheap kitchen ingredients can be just as effective as pricey salon products. Making a hair mask at home, she admits you don't need to visit a hairdresser for a bit of hair rejuvenation, and those after long and healthy hair can start at home.

In the video, Phuong videos her glossy hair that's almost to her knees proving there are no extensions in it, and wrote: "Grow your hair with coffee." As she revealed her homemade concoction of coffee and olive oil.

Mixing the coffee granules in a bowl with olive oil, she then used her hands to apply the mixture to the roots of her hair. Then covering it with a shower cap for 30 minutes, she rinsed it off and dried her hair off.

Showing the final result, Phuong stood in front of the camera revealing her ultra-glossy hair from the mask she had easily made at home. People loved her video, and one person added an extra tip for those taking inspiration from her video and said: "You can use leftover coffee grounds, and filtered water in a spray bottle to spray in roots easier."
