McDonald's launches new burgers and McFlurries today in major menu shake-up

McDonald's has delighted fans yet again as it's revealed seven new menu items - with some never-seen-before additions, in a huge menu shake-up landing today.

With two brand new burgers, new cheesy sides, and sweet additions, fans have been treated to a huge new menu, kicking off from Wednesday, October 18.

Fast-food lovers can enjoy a new Philly Cheese Stack burger, a new McCrispy flavour, the return of the infamous chilli cheese bites, and a new McNugget meal. As well as this, the chain has also unveiled some brand new McFlurry flavours and Halloween-inspired sweet items including a toffee apple pie and a toffee donut.

The hugely popular McCrispy has had a re-vamp and fans can expect to see the McCrispy BBQ Steakhouse land on the menu today. Containing 100% chicken breast in a crispy coating, the burger is smothered in a smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, red onion and lettuce in a sesame-topped burger bun.

There is also the arrival of the Philly Cheese stack burger for the ultimate cheese lovers. It contains two beef patties with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles served in a toasted bun, and if that's not enough cheese, the return of the chilli cheese bites will have your mouth watering.

Nugger fans can also rejoice as McDonald's has finally answered our prayers with a nine-piece nugget meal. Only ever available as a six-nugget meal, diners can tuck in to a larger portion from next week.

If that's not enough, McDonald's has also revealed some brand new McFlurry flavours too, and what's autumn without a sweet treat? A brand new and festive Halloween McFlurry is launching, topped with M&Ms and Halloween sugar shapes and topped with Galaxy Chocolate sauce.

If you like to indulge in a toffee apple for Halloween, the new Twix Toffee Apple McFlurry will be up your alley. It contains soft dairy ice cream swirled with Twix biscuit and chocolate pieces and topped with a toffee apple sauce.

As well as the McFlurries, there is also a toffee apple pie up for grabs too. The classic crispy pastry is filled with a spiced apple compote and toffee sauce and brimming with tasty toffee pieces, and if that's not enough toffee, there is also a limited edition toffee apple ring donut, filled with toffee apple compote, topped with crumble pieces and toffee sauce.

If you want to try these additions, don't wait around as the limited edition menu is only available until November 21.
