In the latest episode of The Osbourne's Podcast Sharon Osbourne confirmed that she and her rocker husband Ozzy Osbourne still have a shared assisted-suicide pact amid his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease.

In Sharon's memoir "Sharon Osbourne Extreme: My Autobiography" released in 2007 she revealed that she and her musician husband had an assisted-suicide pact together. In this, the couple agreed to go to the Swiss assisted dying organisation Dignitas if either of them were suffering from dementia. This decision came after Sharon's father Don Arden passed away after an ongoing battle with Alzheimers in 2007.

Fans wondered if this pact still held true today as it has been over a decade since she and Ozzy initially made the plans. But in a recent episode of her family's podcast Sharon confirmed that she still feels the same. When her children Kelly Osbourne and Jack Osbourne asked if euthanasia was still in the cards for her and Ozzy she replied: "Do you think that we’re gonna suffer?"

To which her son Jack replied: "Aren’t we already all suffering?” And Sharon further clarified: “Yes, we all are, but I don’t want it to actually hurt, as well. Mental suffering is enough pain without physical. So if you’ve got mental and physical, see ya.”

Sharon's daughter then asked her mother if she had a chance of survival if this would impact her choice. Sharon then double-downed on her stance and responded: "Yeah, what if you survived and you can’t wipe your own a**, you’re p**sing everywhere, sh***ing, can’t eat.”

After this, the family discussion came to a close proving that Sharon's mind had been made up on the decision. The 71-year-old media personality and her famous husband have both previously opened up about the topic on numerous occasions over the years. Most recently, Ozzy spoke about the pact adding that their decision also included any life-threatening diseases or terminal illnesses.

In 2014, Ozzy told The Mirror: "If I can’t live my life the way I’m living it now — and I don’t mean financially — then that’s it…,” he said. “If I can’t get up and go to the bathroom myself and I’ve got tubes up my a** and an enema in my throat, then I’ve said to Sharon, ‘Just turn the machine off.’ If I had a stroke and was paralysed, I don’t want to be here. I’ve made a will and it’s all going to Sharon if I die before her, so ultimately it will all go to the kids.”

In 2023, the legendary rocker has faced a number of health issues of his own including an ongoing struggle with Parkinson's disease in addition to neck surgeries due to a fall and biking accident. But despite his recent health troubles, the 74-year-old singer is ready for a comeback as he is already preparing to record and release a new album after taking a five-year-long hiatus from music.
