ITV Emmerdale fans shouting at their TVs over 'brutal' and 'savage' Chloe scene
Emmerdale viewers were left "shouting at their TVs" over a "brutal" and "savage" Chloe Harris moment on Wednesday's episode.
Viewers will recall Chloe, Mackenzie Boyd and Charity Dingle were involved in a brutal car crash on Tuesday night, where a van crashed into them at full speed out of nowhere. Mackenzie was able to escape the wreckage but realised his two lovers were trapped in the car, which was perilously perched on the side of a cliff.
In true soap style, the car started to slip away. Mackenzie was put in an awful dilemma of picking one person to save as they both reached out their arms, the episode ended with Mackenzie picking one hand and it was revealed on Wednesday this was estranged wife Charity as fiancée Chloe sadly fell down the cliff in the car in a dramatic slow motion moment.
During the episode, a panicked Charity and Mackenzie paced the area before hearing the latter's son Reuben's baby toy playing, they followed the sound to find a bloodied Chloe in the car clutching her son's toy, who was thankfully and safely back at the village. Mackenzie held Chloe in his arms as she kept slipping in and out of consciousness while Charity helped to flag down the emergency helicopter, where Chloe was airlifted to hospital.

Taking to social media, one person said: "Me shouting at Mack…. #Emmerdale!"

A different account put: "I knew Mack was going to save Charity but my jaw is on the floor, this is so brutal #emmerdale", a different account wrote: "That's savage that #emmerdale!", another viewer exclaimed: "I was never a fan of Chloe, but that slow mo scene was BRUTAL #emmerdale" while a different fan added: "That’s brutal to see Chloe like that #Emmerdale!"
Elsewhere, while Chloe's fate still remains to be seen some soap watchers think the latter won't die and it will be someone else in a shocking twist. Taking to social media, one person said: "It wouldn’t be the first time a character has survived and then died due to internal injuries a day later."
Another viewer wrote: "He'll [Mack] stumble or something and go over with the car. Both women will live and he will die", another fan said: "I think best closure would be a twist and Mack dies of internal bleeding to put the whole sorry chapter to an end. #emmerdale," with another viewer adding over who they think will die: "It's Mack!" It remains to be seen if anyone does indeed die from the crash and what happens with Chloe after the brutal car crash.
