Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in New York for the first time since their "near catastrophic" car chase earlier this year, with the couple's hefty security comprising of a seven-car convoy now threatening to overshadow them and their amazing work.

Meghan and Harry's car convoy took them on an elaborate route before they reached their destinationIn Manhattan for their Archewell Foundation's Parents’ Summit: Mental Wellness in a Digital Age, the couple were seen in the Big Apple with a seven-car convoy. Seemingly trying to avoid another car chase, the Duke and Duchess were escorted by the seven-car convoy and an NYPD vehicle as they attended the World Mental Health Day Festival in NYC.
Not only were the couple accompanied by the hefty convoy of cars, but they also took a very elaborate route to keep themselves out of harm's way. Reports say that the couple left a garage near the Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards before taking a left on 33rd Street. The couple then ended up in another garage that was only a mere 200ft from the first that they hadn't long departed.

"This was a serious show of force by the power couple," PR expert Andy Barr from 10Yetis.co.uk revealed exclusively to The Mirror in regards to the convoy and elaborate route. He went on: "They were not messing about and not getting dragged into any potential issues this time around."
The Archewell event took place during the Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day Festival 2023 (Getty Images for Project Healthy)"There was also a marked increase in the police presence around the convoy as I imagine both the authorities and the couple themselves were keen to avoid any negative media attention. We will never really know the true extent of the issue in May but there was never going to be a chance of that being allowed to happen again."
Andy then pointed out the "threat" and "danger" that the couple are now facing when he added: "The danger they face now though is that the size of the convoy is threatening to overshadow the amazing work they were doing by attending the event."
While at the event, Meghan referred to her husband Harry as "this one" before she voiced her concerns for her children and their future as they grow up. In her speech at the Archwell event in New York on Tuesday, she said: "Being a mum is the most important thing in my entire life… outside of course, being a wife to this one [Harry].
"But I will say I feel fortunate that our children are at an age, again quite young, so this isn't in our immediate future, but I also feel frightened by how it's continuing to change and this will be in front of us. They say being a parent - the days are long, but the years are short.
"So it worries me, but I'm also given a lot of hope and a lot of energy by the progress we've made in the past year."
The couple also attended The Marcy Lab School, where they posed for photos with students at the educational establishment.
