Emmerdale fans were quick to point out Mackenzie Boyd's "mistake" on Tuesday night as he was involved in a brutal car crash with Charity Dingle and Chloe Harris.
Only recently, Chloe overheard exes Mackenzie and Charity discussing their recent night of passion together, leaving the young mum, who welcomed baby boy Reuben with now fiancé Mackenzie earlier this year, heartbroken over the betrayal.
On Tuesday, Mackenzie and Chloe prepared to leave for a holiday break in Scotland with the hope of moving there permanently soon. However, after Chloe spotted a tender moment between Mackenzie and Charity in the village, she was left seething.
Later in the episode, a withdrawn Chloe decided to drive to Scotland with Mackenzie blissfully oblivious to her fractured state of mind, especially as she started having visions and echoing her revenge thoughts in a clever filming moment.

In the car, things soon turned awkward when Chloe started making several digs and passive aggressive comments.

Charity soon started to get concerned when Chloe intentionally missed their turn and headed towards the moors with a plan to abandon Charity and Mackenzie somewhere remote. As Charity demanded she pull over and things got even more tense, a van came out of nowhere, smashing into them.
In a terrifying moment, their car tumbled upside down multiple times before landing with Mackenzie quickly regaining consciousness. As he urgently called emergency services, he was soon left panicked when he realised the car was suspended on the edge of a cliff.
Charity then regained consciousness and absolutely terrified realised what had happened with both her and Chloe trapped in the vehicle. Chloe then also woke up and started to panic but Mackenzie was quick to calm the duo down, guiding them to both safely and gently get out the vehicle.

Mackenzie was put in an awful dilemma of picking one person to save as they both reached out their arms, the episode ended with Mackenzie picking one hand with the identity yet to be revealed as the car rolled down the cliff.
Soap watchers were quick to question why Mackenzie didn't use both hands in order to save both Charity and Chloe. Taking to social media, one person said: "Mack could of grabbed both hands saving both Chloe and Charity but most likely just saved Charity #Emmerdale."
A different account put: "Mack could've saved them both easily, he was like the f**king Hulk for the last bit of the episode! #Emmerdale," while another viewer wrote: "So suddenly supermack who's holding up a car with his super strength can't hold out both of his hands to pull both of them out? Hmm #emmerdale".
