Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has responded to an X-rated T-shirt worn by San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

The Niners claimed a 42-10 win over the Cowboys on Sunday in the Week Five game of the 2023 NFL regular season. It saw San Francisco move to 5-0 and maintain an undefeated start to the season, while Dallas fell to 3-2 after the loss.

Kittle scored three receiving touchdowns for the Niners at Levi’s Stadium to help beat the Cowboys. The game was a repeat of last season’s NFC divisional round match-up in the play-offs, which San Francisco won to go on and reached the NFC Championship game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

After Kittle scored one of his three touchdowns, he lifted up his jersey to reveal a T-shirt that had an X-rated message on it. The grey T-shirt had the Cowboys logo, accompanied by the message: “F*** Dallas”.

Parsons, a linebacker for the Cowboys, has now responded to the choice of attire from Kittle. Speaking on his own podcast, ‘The Edge with Micah Parsons’, the 24-year-old explained why he took issue with Kittle’s T-shirt choice.

"I just feel like he's making it way more personal than it had to be," Parsons said on his podcast. “Kittle's my guy, but I'm gonna say this: laugh now, cry later.

"We got something for that, just trust. If we see them again, just trust. If you wanna make it personal, we can make it personal."

Kittle himself was asked about the T-shirt during an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' on Monday, the day after the game against Dallas. The Niners tight end was asked by McAfee if he knew what was on the T-shirt prior to him lifting up the jersey, and he gave an honest reply.

“That (shirt) was just on my loop, man. I put it on, was just wearing a T-shirt at the game. I don’t know how that got on there,” Kittle said in a joking manner while talking to McAfee.

“I might’ve been mildly inspired by our guy, Gary Plummer [former 49ers linebacker], who wore that in the ’94 NFC Championship Game versus Dallas.

“There’s some things that need to be worn for the franchise and I think it’s just coincidence it just happened to appear on my chest on ‘Sunday Night Football’.”
