Tommy Fury confessed he isn't a fan of social media despite his fiancée Molly-Mae Hague being a full-time influencer.

The boxer, 24, said he 'never understood' social media and how people use it to compare their lives with strangers' lives. Meanwhile, Molly-Mae, also 24, is one of the UK's top social media influencers and has a legion of loyal fans asking for constant updates on her personal life.

"Social media isn't really my thing. I can't do it, I have to be up and about, doing something," Tommy revealed. "I've never understood it, because I'm not that way inclined. Some people are on Instagram to look at the life they don't have, and that's when they start to get upset and sad with their own lives."

Speaking to The Times, he said: "But they shouldn't be upset. It's, like, there's always a level above you. I could look on Instagram and see a billionaire driving 20 supercars, but that's not going to make me unhappy. If someone's doing better than me, I think God bless you and good luck to you."

Despite not enjoying social media, he commended his fiancée for being 'very good' at influencing. During the same interview, Tommy said he hopes to try his hand at bodybuilding when he's done with boxing. The star told how he has been 'obsessed' with the idea of getting into it.

Tommy recently revealed that Molly-Mae hates his boxing career and only 'tolerates' it because it makes him happy. He said Molly-Mae spends his matches watching the ground. Molly-Mae has always been open about her dislike of the sport, and now, Tommy opened up about it and 'commended' her for supporting him.

He told BBC Breakfast: "She watches the ground while I fight. She only tolerates boxing because she knows how happy it makes me. That's it. "Other than that she hates it. She doesn't like talking about it, she doesn't like watching it, nothing, which I can understand." He said he understands how hard it must be for influencer Molly-Mae to watch the father of their baby daughter, Bambi, get hurt in the boxing ring.

"She's watching her partner, the father to her baby, getting in the ring, have a fight and get punched up," he added. "It's not a nice feeling to go through so I commend her, I do." Tommy has been busy training as he prepares to face KSI at Manchester Arena later this month.
