A woman was left "stained blue like a smurf" at a relaxing spa break thanks to her £60 bikini.
Alisa bought the blue and gold sequined set from Pretty Little Thing and was completely shocked when she noticed the dye had stained her skin. She hand washed it when she got home and couldn't believe it when the water turned bright blue. The 22-year-old contacted the company who pointed out a tiny but crucial detail in the small print - you can't actually swim in it.
The online description states that it's only for "poolside posing". Alisha told Mirror Online: "I was in a spa when I wore it so I was stained blue like a smurf, I was just in shock really it was funny looking back. And then I hand washed as they suggested and it was just pouring out, it smelt awful so I was concerned then."

She continues: "I thought to post it on twitter because it is pretty funny. It’s also mad how Instagram influences have led to these sort of products being produced in mainstream fashion. It’s opened my eyes to fast fashion and I wouldn’t buy from them again."
She has since received an apology and refund from the company. It reads: "I' very sorry to hear that the item you've received has become faulty and that the colour has transfered. As it's not a fault of your own I've refunded you for both Teal Triangle Sequin Tassel Bikini Top/Bottom."
