Rebecca Loos responds to messages after backlash over Beckham affair allegations

Rebecca Loos has responded to well wishes after being trolled following the Beckham premiere.

The 46-year-old has been mentioned in headlines once again following the documentary launch, two decades after being caught up in affair rumours with David – which he has denied, calling the claims "ludicrous" at the time.

She first became known in 2004 after she allegedly had an affair with the former footballer, and Rebecca described herself as Becks' "second wife" and made a number of TV and public appearances after making the allegations.

Now, 20 years on, Netflix docuseries approaches the subject once again, with Victoria talking about it being the "hardest" time of her life.

Rebecca has since been the target of harsh trolls on social media, however, some have come to her defence. One took to her Instagram comments and said: "Hope you're ok in light of everything sweetheart, and sincerely hope everyone is kind to you these days xxx," as Rebecca responded with a red love heart emoji.

Another person said: "Rebecca… you’re amazing!!!! Don’t listen to the haters…lots of love xxx," as a third wrote: "You look amazing and it’s sad how people can’t move on…….and I believe you have good energy around you! Your life looks amazing!"

"The amount of hate this poor lady is receiving is shocking. Most of them mothers, some of them are shouting about mental health in their bios.. To bring another woman down and troll her says much more about you! What a world!," a fourth commented.

One other person posted: "I'm absolutely appalled a some of the disgusting comments on here. What’s wrong with society today that you think it’s ok to come on here and spout such vitriol about someone you don’t know.

"Rebecca please don’t let these comments upset you. You have a beautiful family so concentrate on them. The comments speak volumes about the people posting them. Shame on them x."

The Beckham documentary focuses on David's football career but also goes into his family like and how he's dealt with fame. Victoria admitted that the months after David's alleged affair were the "hardest" of her life.

David said he didn't know how they got through the hard time but he and Victoria knew they had to "fight for their family". He said he felt like they were "drowning" with their names in the headlines for so long.
