PS Plus Extra and Premium's October 2023 offering is set to be revealed officially next week. We're having a guess at what games may be revealed.
PS Plus Extra and Premium are the more expensive versions of Sony's PlayStation subscription service. Compared to PS Plus Essential, which gives out three games per month to keep, PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers are more in-line with Xbox Game Pass, with a library of titles available to download at any time.
The PS Plus Extra and Premium September 2023 games included critically acclaimed RPGs like Dragons Crown Pro, 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim, and Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139… Considering the PS Plus Essential October 2023 games included the horror-themed Weird West and the gruesome The Callisto Protocol, perhaps we're in store for some more scary games on the leadup to Halloween – Resident Evil Village perhaps?
PS Plus Extra and Premium October 2023 predictions
As always, I'm taking a look at last year's lineup and basing my predictions on what came out then. The biggest release in the PS Plus October 2022 lineup (in my opinion) was 2020's Dragon Quest 11 S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition which was a re-release of the Nintendo Switch re-release of the critically acclaimed 2018 RPG (which originally released in Japan in 2017, just to throw another year on there). This version originally released on PS4 in December 2020, so we're looking a year ahead to December 2021 to see what could be a contender.
The game that stands out the most from December 2021 that isn't already available on PS Plus Extra is Solar Ash. Set in the same universe as the indie classic Hyper Light Drifter (which could also be a contender for PS Plus this month, as it's shockingly not on there yet). The game was a PlayStation console exclusive up until last month when it finally launched on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, so Sony may want to capitalise on the renewed hype around the game.

The other major inclusions in October 2022 were six Assassin's Creed games, meaning that almost every Assassin's Creed title available on PS4 and PS5 is available on PS Plus. With Assassin's Creed Mirage launching this month, it may finally be time for the last entry – 2020's Assassin's Creed Valhalla – to arrive on PS Plus.
