YouTube boxer KSI has mocked Tommy Fury for 'avoiding a fight' against his former coach Viddal Riley.
Riley is an unbeaten cruiserweight who recently picked up his 10th professional win by capturing the English title against Nathan Quarless last weekend. The amateur standout unexpectedly found himself in the influencer boxing scene by coaching KSI and AnEsonGib for their early fights and has since amassed over 1million followers on social media.
KSI believes a fight between Fury and Riley should have already happened, but he accused the Love Island star of purposely avoiding the match-up. During their intense face-off, KSI told Fury: "You talk about boxing this or that but you’re always running away from Viddal Riley.”

Fury laughed at the claim by stating that nobody outside of Riley's hometown of Hackney knows who he is. "Viddal Riley? Who outside of Viddal Riley’s hometown knows who he is? He can’t sell a ticket, he can’t sell a ticket and you know what the funniest thing is? Amateur champion, national champion, all this, yeah?

"Decorated amateur, whatever. Yet he wants to fight me? He’s begging for a fight with me, isn’t that crazy. You know what’s even crazier? KSI, Logan Paul, Jake Paul, all these big massive celebrities they’re all calling for me. I’m the king of the hill, I’ve just beat Jake Paul, when I KO you then everything’s going to be going.”
KSI has been favoured in all of his fights since returning to the ring last August, but he faces a huge step up in competition against Fury. Riley recognises that Fury is undoubtedly KSI's toughest opponent to date, but he believes the YouTube boxer thrives off of people doubting his chances in the fight.
"This is the biggest challenge for him so far and it's only right, his opponents have gotten better but this is a big jump," ," Riley told Mirror Fighting. "The more everyone doubts him, the more confident he gets. That is how he operates, that is his fuel that gets him up in the morning. That's what makes him dangerous. I'm not surprised to see him confident and motivated because that is what he hopes for, he hopes to be the underdog."
