Lefant M210 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The Lefant M210 (Amazon)With four cleaning modes, this impressive little vacuum features a built-in 6D anti-collision infrared sensor that detects the surrounding environment to prevent bashing into your belongings on the go. Also costing a very reasonable £109, the compact design makes it nimble enough to traverse under furniture without getting in the way, and the 2200 Pa brushless nozzle and two side brushes claim to use powerful suction to draw up debris.
It measures 28cm and is 7.8cm thick, making it ideal for use in smaller spaces, and the 500ml bin only needs to be cleaned every 5 to 7 days. For reliable cleaning power, this little beauty boasts 120 minutes of battery power on a single charge.
Our expert Gareth tried the Lefant M210 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for himself and was impressed with its features. He said: "Despite its low spec, you'll not be shortchanged. It has a 2,200pa suction power, it can be controlled through your smart speakers, and it's specifically designed to cope well with pet hair.
"I also love the fact that, despite its relatively small size, it has a 500ml dust container - so you won't need to empty it all that often."

Compact and slim with a 7.3CM height, the robot can move around low furniture and hard-to-reach corners during its 100-minute battery time.
Described by one customer as "a great bit of kit at a decent price" this is one of the cheaper models in the Proscenic range, that seems to be as popular as their higher-priced options.

AIRROBO P20 Robot Vacuum Cleaner
The AIRROBO P20 Robot Vacuum Cleaner (Amazon)An excellent choice for households with furry friends, the AIRROBO P20 Robot Vacuum Cleaner has a powerful suction of 2800Pa, allowing it to pick up more debris, pet hair, dust and dirt than some of its rivals. With a 3" ultra slim height design, it can go under sofas, beds and other low furniture and the 120-minute run time is a bonus for just £149.
Anti-fall and advanced collision sensors help to keep the cleaner on course and the smart app control lets the user set up cleaning schedules.
Pet owners seem to be keen on this model, with five-star reviews all the way. One owner said: "I always wanted to try one of these and am so grateful to have had the opportunity to do so. Having 2 cats and all wood floors made it somewhat difficult when trying to keep the floors clean and free of cat hair until this came along. It works great when it comes to keeping the floors clean."
Another added "The dog and cat have accepted the vacuum as their newest sibling that they have to get along with, and we've named him "Bumper" after the way he tends to bump into the edges of everything as he makes his rounds around the house picking up pet hair and dust bunnies."

The Eufy is the complete package (Amazon)Gareth Butterfield has tested many low-cost robot vacuum cleaners, and while he agrees that they can be quite good at cleaning up, there is one more expensive model that wears the crown. The Eufy Clean X9 Pro is pricey at £899, but it is so impressive that it has already been awarded the accolade of the Mirror Choice best robot vacuum cleaner.
Speaking about the Eufy, Gareth said: "The robot vacuum I need most in my life is always going to be a combo vacuum and mop. The Eufy Clean X9 Pro is the only one I've tested that performs both functions brilliantly."
He continued: "This one just does the best job of both its functions. Its mopping function is the best in the business, thanks to the dual spinning mop heads and the clever water tanks in the charging base, and the vacuum function works really well too.
"It uses laser guidance to find its way around, which I personally prefer, and the app is the simplest and most reliable I've used."
