Meghan Markle has reportedly been on edge due to the real prospect that her former best friend Jessica Mulroney may come forward to speak out about her.
Jessica recently took to social media this week sharing a cryptic post about her strong "detachment game" three years after her friendship fallout with the Duchess of Sussex. The Canadian stylist reposted a quote sharing her feelings towards loyalty in friendships that read: "As loving as I am, my detachment game is strong too."
The 43-year-old marketing consultant shared the post years after her friendship with Meghan came to a halt. Their friendship ended in 2020 during the Black Live Matter protests when lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter called Jessica out for her "problematic" behaviour and "white privilege".
Following the row, Jessica issued three public apologies for her actions but still faced consequences and was dropped by numerous television networks. As Jessica faced backlash from the public, the Duchess of Sussex remained silent and did not support her friend. Since then the pair have remained distant and seemed to have cut ties as they have not been seen together since.

The pair fell out (Jessica Mulroney/Instagram)Now sources have told Closer that the possibility of Jessica "spilling the beans" on Meghan and Harry is "a big panic" for the Duchess, who's been very fortunate to not have to contend with any tell-all's so far. "Jessica is not yet openly indicating she's ready to sit down and dish the dirt on Meghan but the possibility is always there and it's a big panic for Meghan," a source said.
"She's relieved she hasn't had to deal with this yet but when Instagram posts like this surface it makes her shudder. The feeling is that she and Harry have both been very fortunate until now, they haven't had a tell-all to contend with - at least not from within their close circle of friends and former friends.
"But there's a real prospect of other people with an axe to grind from her and Harry's past coming forward to get revenge and humiliate them. This is the kind of thing that gives Meghan sleepless nights," the source added. "If she were to suddenly decide to change her stance and speak out it would be crushing for Meghan, not to mention humiliating.
