Victoria Beckham once revealed she punched David after hearing he was accused of kissing someone while the Spice Girls were on tour.
The couple, known as Posh and Becks, recently sat down to discuss his affair rumours for the first time on their new Netflix documentary, Beckham. In 2003, it was rumoured that the footballer, 48, and his personal assistant Rebecca Loos had an affair while he was playing in Spain for Real Madrid – claims which he branded "ludicrous" at the time.
Posh Spice, 49, and David's relationship suffered as a result and it became the 'hardest period' in their lives because 'it felt like the world was against' them. However, before the 2003 allegations, David was accused of kissing someone while Posh was away on tour.

At the time, David called her to tell her he was accused of kissing someone. When they next saw each other, Victoria revealed she "went straight up to him and just swung at him, punched him."
Writing in her 2001 autobiography, Learning To Fly, she added: "I hadn’t planned it. I hadn’t punched anybody before. Just instinct. I just felt angry and hurt." Posh was so distraught that she suffered suicidal thoughts and wrote that David – who continued to protest his innocence – felt the same.

She revealed she punched him when he told her (Netflix)The couple jetted off to Lake Como in Italy to work things out, and Victoria eventually decided to believe David and married him four months after Brooklyn's birth on July 4, 1999. The £1.5million ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle near Dublin, and their nuptials featured actual thrones.
A few years later, News Of The World claimed David had an affair with his personal assistant. Other women made other allegations too, all of which Beckham described as "ludicrous" at the time. David and Victoria discussed what the rumours did to their marriage in their new Netflix documentary, Beckham.
The former Manchester United star admitted he doesn't know how the couple got through the rumours but the couple knew they had to 'fight for their family'. David said he 'felt sick every day' as their names hit headlines in the months following the explosive claims.
Opening up for the documentary, Victoria revealed the couple were 'against each other'. At the time, she was based in the UK where Brooklyn and Romeo were attending school while David was in Spain working. David said: "Every time that we woke up we felt there was something else ... we both felt at the time that we were not losing each other but drowning."
The couple managed to survive the rough patch and are set to celebrate 25 years of marriage next year.
