In Monday night's episode, Moira Barton was a charged a whopping £15.20 for two drinks after she rocked up at the Yorkshire-set watering hole with Nate Robinson. Moira, played by Natalie J. Robb, was shocked when she heard the price of the pints and so were viewers at home who took to X, formerly Twitter, to complain.
One said: "You wouldn’t even pay £7.60 per Pint in London!! # Emmerdale." Another wrote: "£15.20 for 2 drinks? London prices have reached #Emmerdale." A third tweeted: "I though my local was expensive but I’d pour it back in barrel if they said £15.20. It’s not that much in London." [sic] While a fourth commented: "£15.20 for 2 pints in emmerdale! I hate paying more than £3.50 for a pint!" [sic]

Fans couldn't help but point out a huge blunder on the ITV soap as Chas took Simon – or Harry – home with her after her pricey glass of wine. One fan wrote: "Lovely to see this new guy is going to sleep on the sofa and Chas getting him a duvet, as the light pours through the kitchen window. #emmerdale." A second added: "Why does he need stay on her sofa?? Bit weird- she chatted & flirted with him for an hour and is now providing bed & breakfast?? Surely he already had a place to go, I.e home #emmerdale."
Exactly what is going with Harry, Cain and Caleb remains to be seen, but actor Ash Palmisciano – who plays Matty Barton – said the storyline is going to have a big impact on one of the soap's most infamous families. Speaking to the Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards, he said: "All I can say is obviously there is something that is happening that we don't know about yet, but it's gonna affect all of the Dingles so there is a lot to come out."
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
