When it comes to travelling on a plane, comfort is key when choosing your outfit - but you might think twice about your next get-up after one woman's mortifying experience.
The traveller thought she'd made a good decision when she opted for a bandeau top and leggings, as it seemed like a comfy outfit, but she's since warned others not to make the same mistake.
Posting the whole ordeal on TikTok, online fitness coach Emma explained how she experienced "the most embarrassing thing that could ever happen to someone on an aeroplane" during a flight from the Gold Coast to Sydney, Australia.
Recounting the incident in a now-viral video, Emma, who posts under the name @emmafituk, said: "When the plane landed I reached up into the overhead cabin to get my bag and my bandeau decides to ping off and show my bare boobs to the whole plane. Not only that, but there was literally a guy sat on the seat eye-level to my boob, and thank the lord he had enough respect to look in the opposite direction and not face my actual boob.
"But everyone else around me 100% definitely saw and I wanted the ground to literally swallow me up. Without a doubt that was the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me in my life. So note to all my girls watching this, never ever ever under any circumstance wear a bandeau on an aeroplane."
Viral sausage roll debate leaves Brits confused about how to order at Greggs
People took to the comments to share supportive messages for the fitness influencer, sharing that they felt her pain or that they'd had similar experiences. One person said: "Oh no. I bet you felt your face going red. I'll definitely note that." Another wrote: "Oh my gosh are you ok." Someone else commented: "OMG you're lying. I'd die!" While a different user admitted: "I'm not fancy enough to know what a bandeau is. That sucks though!" A fifth person added: "Stoppppppppp!!"
This stressful flight experience comes after a woman told how she lied to airport staff in Manchester in order to get through to a fancy lounge, despite breaking the strict dress code rules. Lisa Connor was at Manchester Airport on September 10 ahead of a flight to Benidorm for a 'much needed' girls' trip. The 47-year-old mum-of-two was keen to start partying with her friends as soon as she touched down on holiday, so in order to save herself some time, she'd put her hair up in rollers so it would curl during the flight.
However, the rollers were prohibited in the Escape Lounge, so a pal suggested she cover them up with a silk scarf to make her look a bit more presentable. They gave that a try though it was still quite obvious something was in her hair. But determined to get into the lounge in Terminal 3, Lisa, from Sandback, Cheshire, lied to the receptionist at the entrance, claiming to have a 'scalp condition' when questioned about what was under the scarf. This resulted in some unhappy looks from staff at the airport, but Lisa claims it was all 'worth it' in the end.
