Strictly’s Giovanni kisses Amanda after passionate Salsa amid feud rumours
Strictly stars Giovanni Pernice and Amanda Abbington set the dance floor on fire with their steamy Salsa - and appeared to have put their apparent feud behind them as they shared a passionate kiss after delivering their routine.
The sequin-clad duo delivered a jaw-dropping performance on Saturday night, as the celebrities returned to the dance floor for week two of the live shows. Giovanni and Amanda brought the heat with their passionate Samba.
However, at the end of their routine, viewers weren't quite expecting the Italian dancer to grip Amanda's face before planting a kiss on her lips. They scored an impressive 32 from the judges. Fans of the show immediately flocked to X, formerly Twitter, and praised the dance couple on their chemistry and dubbed their dance 'the best one of the night.'
One viewer said: "Amanda and Giovanni… just wow!!! I absolutely loved that." Another said: "Amanda & Giovanni deserved at least one 9. That was a brilliant Salsa." A third viewer wrote: "Blimey! That was the dance of night for me. So far. Amanda and Giovanni BROUGHT IT tonight."
Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice scored 32 points on Saturday (PA)Just last week, it was reported Giovanni and Amanda were at war with each other behind the scenes of the BBC show. Sources claimed Amanda Abbington threatened to quit over his 'militant and aggressive' behaviour in training.

A source told The Sun: “Giovanni is a hard taskmaster and takes the competition very, very seriously. “Sometimes his manner is incredibly brusque and this can upset his partners. Amanda was really looking forward to dancing with him, but has found his aggressive training style and attitude pretty difficult to handle.
However, the former Sherlock actor Amanda broke her silence first by sharing a picture of herself beaming in rehearsals. Giovanni also gushed over Amanda in a social media post writing: "I usually don't say those things early (as everybody know) but I'm extremely proud of you and I can't wait for people to watch we have created."
Despite any behind-the-scenes tensions, the pair performed brilliantly in week one and are the front runners to win the series this year.
