A lucky Brit has won a life changing £3.8 million after winning the jackpot in tonight's National Lottery draw.

It has been revealed that a Lotto player won the huge amount a few days after another participant claimed £5.2 million. The latest winner is now being told to contact the National Lottery to claim their prize.

To win the top prize in the main Lotto draw, participants must match all six main numbers and for Saturday's winner they can now sit back and weigh up their options, maybe retire instantly and pursue their dreams.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at the National Lottery, said, “What wonderful news, one lucky ticket-holder has won tonight’s £3.8M Lotto jackpot! It’s been an exciting few days for Lotto players after another lucky ticket-holder won the incredible £5.2M jackpot on Wednesday (27 September). Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call to claim tonight’s exciting jackpot prize.

“Thanks to National Lottery players, £30M is generated every week for Good Causes. This money helps fund projects across the nation, with over 670,000 grants – supporting projects both big and small – having been made across the UK to date.”

Tonight’s National Lottery Lotto winning numbers are: 01, 08, 14, 20, 24, 40 and the Bonus Ball is 52. Tonight’s jackpot is £3.8 million and the top prize in the Thunderball game is £500,000.

There are multiple chances to win the Lotto as draws take place every Saturday and Wednesday. To play the game, you choose six numbers from one to 59 or choose a lucky dip. It costs £2 per play.

In a Lotto Must Be Won draw where no one wins the jackpot by matching six main numbers, there’s a Rolldown. This means the jackpot is shared by players matching two or more main numbers, so thousands can expect to win a boosted cash prize.

Meanwhile for others looking to win a jackpot, the most-drawn lottery numbers in the EuroMillions have been revealed. The EuroMillions draw takes place every Tuesday and Friday. A ticket costs £2.50 and includes automatic entry into the UK Millionaire Maker draw, which creates guaranteed new UK millionaires every week. The National Lottery reportedly said the numbers drawn most often in 2023 are: 34 (drawn 16 times), 44, 35 and 23 (drawn 12 times), 33 and 21 (drawn 11 times).

Six people from the UK have scooped jackpot prizes on the Euromillions this year, including one person who took home £23million after their win was split with another winner from Austria.
