Nigel Harman showed off his acting skills on Saturday night as he performed a passionate Viennese Waltz with Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones.
The Casualty star began the dance by placing a kiss on Katya's cheek before telling the story of a sweet romance with the routine to Stephen Sanchez's hit Until I Found You. The dance was a romantic story of two old flames meeting again at a school reunion, but Nigel and Katya's routine was very much a performance as the actor is happily married to his wife Lucy Liemann, with the pair tying the knot in 2011.
Nigel was left disappointed by the judges comments as Shirley praised his “graceful arms and lovely connection" but noted there was "too much up and down, and technical errors”. The studio audience booed the head judge causing her to lash out and exclaimed: "You might learn something, so hold on a minute."
Anton Du Beke added: “Immaculate intimacy and storytelling, work on your topline but lovely performance," but Craig Revel Horwood disagreed: “You’re being very picky, you two, besides the technical issues which are easily fixable, you have ability and people will vote for it, well done.”

Despite the judges criticisms, viewers were quick to praise the couple. "There’s something so gorgeous about Nigel & Katya," one viewer tweeted.

Someone else echoed: "Nigel and Katya’s chemistry is off the scale#Strictly #SCD," and another said: "It’s so good to see Katya show off her talent with Nigel after being paired up with others in the past she always produces such good routines , her choreography and storytelling is amazing. Let’s go Katya and Nigel #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly."
Another said: "Well that had a lovely quality to it, brilliant connection between Nigel and Katya, and a gorgeous quality to his dancing just tighten up the technique #Strictly," while a fifth added: "This V.Waltz from Nigel was absolutely gorgeous. The Storytelling was so beautiful and I like the way he moved Katya around the floor. Such raw emotion. He needs to work on the frame but that was lovely."
