Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Carlos Gu has showcased a bloody injury just hours before he is set to take to the famous dance floor with his celebrity partner, Angela Scanlon.
The professional dancer, 39, took to Instagram on Saturday afternoon to post an image of himself holding a bloody tissue to his nose as he looked fed up while donned in dancing gear. Alongside the photo, Carlos wrote: "Had a little situation".
The snap appeared to have been taken behind-the-scenes at the BBC show, possibility during rehearsals, hours before Carlos and Irish presenter Angela are due to perform the Jive live. Carlos has not yet addressed what caused the injury, however Angela has hinted at what could have been behind the bloody injury.
Over on her own Instagram, Angela gushed over Carlos as she reflected on a busy week during her Strictly journey. "Another week with this glorious mad egg. Tonight we JIVE. Sweet mother it is intense & relentless but I love it and can’t wait for you to see," she wrote.

It comes after Angela uploaded a video to her Instagram Account showing her dancing out of the window of a moving car before she was reported to police this week. Angela, 39, was seen not wearing a seatbelt while hanging out of the rear window for her dance which was filmed by a passenger in the front of the car.
She posted the clip to her Instagram in view of her 317,000 followers before swiftly deleting it. Angela was seen dancing to the hit track Rapper's Delight by The Sugarhill Gang.
However, after being reported, she has now apologised for her actions. In a statement, she said: "'I made absolutely the wrong decision when I filmed this video. I was coming from rehearsals and was giddy with excitement. That's not an excuse, because what I did was stupid and I'm sorry I let my excitement get the better of my judgement."
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Police told the Mirror: "Hertfordshire Police have received a report from a member of the public about a woman not wearing a seat belt in a moving vehicle in Borehamwood." Angela was reported to Hertfordshire Police on Monday, September 25, although the outcome of the report is not known at this time.
Speaking to the MailOnline, a source said: "Angela thought she was having a laugh, playing up to being on Strictly. But leaning out of a moving car is incredibly dangerous and she should know better. Her place on Strictly won't be at threat but she'll be warned about her behaviour going forward."
