As the rumoured relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift continues to gather pace, ESPN presenter Elle Duncan believes she has spotted evidence that it is little more than a “stunt”.
Kelce the two-time Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the world-famous popstar have been the talk of the sports and entertainment worlds ever since Kelce admitted he failed in his attempt to give her a bracelet with his number on and speak to her after a concert.
Since then it was claimed that the pair were "hanging out" and the speculation reached fever pitch when Swift was in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday
Swift shared a private box at Arrowhead to watch the Chiefs claim a 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears alongside Kelce’s mother, Donna, and celebrated when the Chiefs tight end scored a touchdown in the third quarter.
Footage after the game showed Swift and Kelce leaving Arrowhead Stadium together. The pair walked side by side, not holding hands, while Swift wore a Chiefs jacket around her waist. Images later emerged of the pair looking cosy at a post-game occasion.

Duncan, an ESPN presenter, has explained why she believes the rumours around a romance between Kelce and Swift is a “stunt”. Duncan believes that the way Kelce walked alongside Swift hinted that he may not actually be dating the singer.
"It’s a stunt. It’s a stunt," Duncan said on on Tuesday before the images appeared and before Kelce spoke on his podcast. "And there was nothing more clear that it was a stunt than watching them leave the arena together.
“He looked nervous. He looked like he had zero game. It was the most platonic walk of all time. That’s all I kept thinking when they were walking by.
"He’s never touched that woman. They’re not dating. This is a stunt.
“Now, when I said he does not know that woman – OK, maybe he does. Apparently, he does. They’re not dating. Nothing about that said ‘that’s a relationship’.”
The Chiefs do not have another home game at Arrowhead Stadium until Week 6 of the NFL season against the Denver Broncos on October 12. Before then there are road games against the New York Jets this Sunday, when Swift with reportedly be in attendance at MetLife Stadium - putting Duncan's theory to the test.
Kelce spoke very highly of Swift on his podcast, "New Heights", alongside his brother, Jason Kelce, and praised the singer following her appearance at Arrowhead.
"Shoutout to Taylor for pulling up," said Kelce on the podcast on Wednesday. "That was pretty ballsy. I just thought it was awesome that everybody in the suite had nothing but good things to say about her, the friends and family.
"She looked amazing, everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that the day went perfect for the Chiefs."
