There is a quick turnaround for the afternoon session, with the fourballs getting underway at 11.25am. The four matches will be on course by 12.10pm and the day's play is due to conclude at around 5pm.
The schedule and format is the same for Saturday's action. On Sunday, the 12 singles matches begin at 10.35am and they will tee off at 12-minute intervals, with play set to conclude by 4pm.
The pairings for the opening session will be announced at the opening ceremony on Thursday afternoon, with captains Luke Donald and Zach Johnson taking to the stage at around 3pm.
