Kim Kardashian face plants as she shares nasty-looking bloopers reel

Kim Kardashian has been making quite the splash - literally.

The reality TV star, 42, has been practising her surfing technique, but doesn't appear to have got the hang of the sport just yet. But instead of hiding behind her failures, the SKIMS founder decided to upload a "bloopers" reel to show she's not quite perfect at everything she does.

Kim took to her Instagram Stories to share her less-than-perfect attempts, but quoted the great Muhammad Ali as inspiration. She wrote on her upload: "Wanted to share some bloopers. You don't lose if you get knocked down. You lose if you stay down - Muhammad Ali."

The clips showed Kim repeatedly falling off her board as a boat pulled her along. Many times she landed face first in the clear blue waters, but she continued to keep trying to nail the efforts. For the activity, Kim was wearing tight blue swim shorts and a matching life jacket.

It comes a day after Kim had seemingly shown off a brand new unrecognisable look. She was seen to have ditched her usual brunette locks after apparently chopping them off and starting anew with a spiky buzz cut. The huge change was part of a photoshoot with Nadia Lee Cohen for the CR Fashion Book Issue 23, where she looked unrecognisable in cat-eye framed glasses and extraordinarily thin eyebrows. To complete the appearance, Kim simply wore a dirty white t-shirt and gazed into the camera.

Fans took to the comments on her social media page to share their shock over her big change. Many praised the photographer and her style team for completely transforming the mum-of-four, with one user writing: "I have never seen Kim photographed or styled this way. Almost makes me wonder how you got her to do it. Props to you and the entire team."

Another added the style was "the coolest" Kim had "ever looked," while a third praised the brand new way Kim had been captured.

However, in what is sure to be a disappointment to those fans, it now appears as though Kim's short hairstyle wasn't for keeps. She has since uploaded more photo shoot images of her with her usual long black locks in full flow.
