Zara McDermott 'wont let history repeat itself' amid Strictly curse fears
It has been revealed why Sam Thompson is convinced that Zara McDermott won't cheat on him again.
Zara was unfaithful to her boyfriend back in 2019 when she cheated on him with music boss Brahim Fouradi – while she was competing on X Factor: Celebrity. This led to them splitting up briefly before she begged for him back in viral scenes which aired on Made In Chelsea.
They got back together and now the former Love Islander is taking part on the 2023 series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Graziano Di Prima. When the duo were announced to be dancing together, many took to social media to say Sam "must be sweating" at the concept.
Zara is competing on Strictly (BBC)However, it seems he's not worried as Sam and Zara are stronger than ever and that she won't fall victim to the Strictly curse. Graziano also recently tied the knot with Giada Lini.
A source told Closer magazine: "They had that bump in the road early on in their relationship, but Zara and Sam feel like they're in the strongest place they could be these days and trust each other more now than ever. Having made that mistake before, Sam knows Zara would never let history repeat itself and risk their future together – they've both made a pact to be open and honest with one another throughout and continue to prioritise each other no matter how crazy their schedules get, to ensure that doesn't falter."

It has been said that Sam and Graziano were introduced to each other straight away, with him and his wife coming round for dinner together.
Graziano and Zara took to the dancefloor for the first time at the weekend where they went up against other celebs who have slipped on their dancing shoes.
The pair performed a Cha Cha Cha to Crush by Jennifer Paige and they managed to score 19 in week one. Craig Revel Horwood described the routine as "wooden", however, Anton Du Beke said that Zara is "one to watch".
Craig ended up scoring Zara a three, Motsi Mabuse awarded a six, while Shirley Ballas gave out a five and so did Anton.
