EastEnders fans have rumbled who Sharon marries this Christmas - and it's not Keanu.

There is a huge Christmas storyline on the BBC soap, which will see one man die on Sharon's wedding day. We don't know a lot about what happens, only that it takes place in the Queen Vic and that the man is murdered.

We also know that it's Sharon's wedding day, and at the time, it seemed obvious it would be Keanu who she marries, but the pair have since split up and now it looks like Sharon could be marrying someone else in the next few months.

Fans have been discussing their theories on who the mystery man might be, and some are convinced it won't be Keanu and will be someone else. One wrote: "Could she be marrying that weird boxing bloke?" as a second mused on Reddit about the possibilities: "I think she’ll marry the boxing guy, he’ll draw her in with some rubbish that they have to be married to move to Dubai together and for them to be business partners etc or she may marry him for the money."

However, other fans are convinced that Sharon will marry Keanu as he is the only "logical" option.

"I think it’ll be Keanu. There’s not enough time for it to anyone else. Something must happen in the next few weeks that brings them back together. I don’t think it’ll last though. You can tell she’s over him now," one shared.

A second added: "The only reason I can think of her marrying Keanu is for the sake of Peggy. He might cajole Sharon into marrying him to show Lisa he’s worth her giving him custody. I hope that’s not it though. It could end up being a whirlwind romance where she gets engaged quickly. Let’s see," as a third shared: "I think it’ll be Keanu. There’s not enough time for it to anyone else. Something must happen in the next few weeks that brings them back together. I don’t think it’ll last though. You can tell she’s over him now."
