Saweetie sparks debate after sharing how she customises McDonald's meal
Most of us have a go-to order at McDonald’s, or perhaps even a quirky way that we like to enjoy our meal - think dipping fries into a chocolate milkshake. Now American rapper Saweetie, 30, has shared her own personal style when it comes to eating from the fast-food giant - but not everyone is convinced.
Sharing an Instagram video with her 12.9 million followers, the Tap In singer revealed how she likes to make the sandwich unique. Wearing a black leather jacket with diamante studded lapels, a choker with a bling-covered skull, and her platinum hair in a half up-half down style, the star began the tweaking by opening up the burger.
Wearing pale blue iridescent nails so long they were compared to “plastic straws” in the comments section, she then proceeded to empty a packet of fries onto the meat patty, before adding a whole tub of sauce over it. After placing the burger bun back into place, Saweetie, real name Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, proceeded to take a big bite of everything - even accidentally getting a chip go up her nose.

One amused person wrote: “That’s a good option I have to try. Preferred barbecue sauce.”
But most people were too distracted by Saweetie’s talons, with one viewer adding: “Ugh the nails.” And a third person blasted: “When you have plastic straws for nails wtf.”
McDonald's fan shares how she gets 'cheaper' meals every time she goes
Back in 2021, Saweetie joined McDonald's for a partnership, calling the collaboration a "no brainer". The Best Friend singer said at the time: "I know I'm not a normal girl, but when they said that McDonald's was interested in collaborating, I was shocked. But I've never said yes so fast in my life. So I'm just really excited because I grew up eating McDonald's."
And it's not just the fast-food giant that she loves to experiment with as the star often shares her meals on social media. Speaking to Delish about her working with McDonald's she said: "I'm known for my food concoctions, and I go live and I eat tons of meals, I think a regular meal that I typically eat on my live is McDonald's, so I think that it's just, you know, a match made in heaven. I think people would just pretend they can't get on board with what I eat. I mean, how I eat is... it's normal, I just like to mix it up. I like to remix it."
