Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has issued a warning to his team after the loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals claimed a 28-16 win over the Cowboys on Sunday night in Week Three of the NFL season. It saw an end to an unbeaten start to the season for Dallas who now move to 2-1 for the year.
Prescott had previously helped the Cowboys offense score 70 points in the opening two games of the season against the New York Giants and the New York Jets, conceding just 10 points in the process. However, it was a different story at the University of Phoenix Stadium.
The Cowboys managed to score just one touchdown along with three field goals against the Cardinals defense. The touchdown came from a 15-yard pass from Prescott to Rico Dowdle in the second quarter.
Now that the Cowboys’ undefeated record has come to an end, Prescott was fielding questions on what the next step will be. The franchise quarterback used the recent hype around the team following the start of the season and the loss in Arizona as a reality check

"Y'all put us on top of the world," Prescott told reporters in his post-game press conference on Sunday, via . "We knew who we are. In that same sense, I'm sure the media got what it wanted. For us, there hadn't been but one undefeated team.
“It sucks, it's humbling, but to say it's a wake-up call, we knew we had a lot of adversity and we just didn't get it done. It just goes back to myself, the offense, in the red zone. We get better there, we win this game. But we've got to fix that area, period."
Prescott added: "We're staying in the moment. That's who we are. That's who this team is. This was a humbling loss in that sense. Obviously, we've had a lot of adversity just throughout the week. It wasn't easy. Nobody's making excuses.
“I thought we had a great opportunity to come in and, even with the adversity, get a win. Obviously, every week you've got to reset and refocus, and honestly, it's a little bit easier after a loss. So, there's not going to be any worries about that."
The Cowboys will return to Dallas this Sunday in Week Four of the season against the New England Patriots. Bill Belichick's team are 1-2 and the Cowboys are likely to be the favourites for the contest at AT&T Stadium.
