Pete Wicks spotted wearing shirt with Zara McDermott's face in Strictly audience

Pete Wicks was spotted in the Strictly Come Dancing audience wearing a shirt with Zara McDermott's face on it on Saturday.

The former TOWIE star, 35, was at the BBC studios alongside BFF and Staying Relevant podcast co-host, Sam Thompson, who is Zara's boyfriend. As the camera panned round to the star-studded audience, Pete could be seen sporting the eye-catching clothing, which was decorated with several selfies of the Love Island star, 26.

Sam, who was also sporting a shirt with Zara's face on it, shared a snap of his pal on Instagram with the caption: "Never been so proud in my life The fact that @p_wicks01 also came to support was just the icing on the cake. I even got him a custom Zara shirt swipe for the best moment of the evening involving Pete and the cameras."

Pete also got to meet his 'double' Graziano Di Prima backstage during an exciting night on Strictly in which Zara and the Italian placed 13th. Sam shared a video of his pal, who looked delighted to be next to the sequinned-strewn dancer with the caption: "Father and son". The Made In Chelsea star also wrote: "I got to meet Zara’s strictly pro! Even got him in my red boots! @grazianodiprima you’re an absolute legend sir, and I CANNOT wait for all the TikTok’s (why am I so hunched)."

Commenting on the snap of Sam and Graziano, one fan said: "LMAO Pete's been replace" while another teased "Pete's gonna be jealous!" Zara also shared a selection of snaps from the night, as she wrote: 'SAY HELLO TO YOUR NEW FAVOURITE DUO…!!!!! it’s been one of the best experiences of my life already meeting you… I can already tell that you and I are going to be the absolute best of friends!!! this is just the beginning!!! Despite having the support of her boyfriend and Pete in the audience, the Love Island star struggled to win over all of the Strictly judges with her first live performance. After performing a Cha Cha Cha with Graziano, Craig Revel Horwood described the routine as "wooden", however, in contrast, Anton Du Beke branded Zara "one to watch".

Craig scored Zara a three, Motsi Mabuse awarded a six, while Shirley Ballas gave out a five - as did Anton. Zara almost ended up in tears following the dance as she gushed to Graziano: "I'm really happy, I am over the moon with it, and doing it with you, you are the best teacher ever."
