Secret new Samsung phone could offer a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S23
Samsung has already had a busy year with the Korean technology giant releasing a raft of devices including its ultimate S23 Ultra with S Pen tucked inside and updated Z foldables which feature screens that bend in half. Now it seems there could be one last new call maker coming in 2023 and it may offer a great option for anyone wanting premium specs without the usual high price.
Rumours are rife that the Korean technology giant is planning to release a Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) and now that launch seems to be getting one step closer.
As spotted by the eagle-eyed team at SamMobile this new device has just been given certification in Singapore.
Like all new phones, the Galaxy S23 FE needs to be tested in labs to make sure it abides by local rules and regulations and with countries appearing to be giving it the green light we could be getting close to a big reveal.
Although Samsung is yet to confirm the new FE's existence there have been plenty of leaks and rumours about what could be included.

There have even been pictures published that claim to show how the Galaxy S23 FE will look in the flesh.
If the speculation is correct, users will get a device with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, triple-lens rear camera and a larger 4,500mAh battery that can be fast charged.
It could also come in four fruity colours inching purple and mint.
Right now there's no word on a release date although one tech tipster - named Abhishek Yadav - has spotted marketing material that suggests it's coming soon and should be revealed to the world long before the Christmas rush.
Samsung has released a number of Fan Edition phones in the past and all have been cheaper than their non-FE siblings and there's nothing to suggest this year's S23 FE will be any different. If you fancy a new phone - watch this space.
