Peter Andre 'emotional' over 'grown-up' Princess after she showed him red carpet outfit

Peter Andre has revealed Princess's growing up makes him "emotional", but insisted that he is "proud of the young lady she is becoming."

The Australian-British media personality gushed about his sixteen-year-old daughter once again in a recent interview, less than a month after publicly praising her for "working hard" for her GCSE results.

Peter, who shares Princess as well as 18-year-old son Junior with his ex-wife Katie Price, admitted that he realised just how mature the teenage model had become after seeing her dress ahead of the National Diversity Awards.

"Even though she’s almost an adult, it does make me emotional to see how grown-up she is already," the Mysterious Girl singer wrote in his latest column. "She attended the National Diversity Awards 2023 last week. She sent me a picture beforehand and showed me her outfit. I'm proud of the young lady she is becoming."

Princess joined Katie Price at the National Diversity Awards last week, where she helped her VIP mum present an accolade. The Pretty Little Thing model wore a halter neck black satin dress at the event, which she paired with a silver crossbody purse and her signature Rapunzel blonde hair. She finished off the elegant ensemble with a French manicure, lashings of mascara and a glowing tan.

Katie, 45, co-ordinated her outfit with her glamorous daughter, rocking a Boohoo black dress with shoulder-cut outs and a waist-cinching white belt to the swish do. She skipped the stilettos and donned a pair of white heeled Crocs by Balenciaga instead, telling the media that "they're comfy" after she "broke" her feet. Katie's two younger children, Bunny and Jett, as well as Princess's boyfriend, where also in tow for the glitzy event.

At another point of the evening, Katie hinted that her nine-year-old daughter could be joining her to present at next year's Diversity Awards. "Bunny is trying to get on stage because she loves it so we'll see what happens," she teased. Katie's eldest son, Harvey, was born Prader-Will syndrome and was expected to hand out an award at the event alongside his mother.

Katie also hailed the Diversity Awards as "amazing", adding, "It's so important that everyone here should be accepted for who they are." The former I'm A Celebrity star has attended the past two Diversity Awards, appearing at last year's show with her on-off boyfriend Carl Woods.

"There's people here who work with charities, people with complex needs who do a lot and deserve to win awards," she continued last week.
