Kim Kardashian's past acting roles — from meteor death to murderer
Kim Kardashian made her debut in American Horror Story (AHS) this week, with her having joined the cast of the anthology show for its latest season subtitled Delicate.
The decision to cast the reality TV star, 42, in the acclaimed anthology series - which was created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk - had proved controversial. Some people questioned if Kim would be able to 'act' on the FX show.
Although known as a reality TV star and entrepreneur, it isn't actually Kim's first acting role. She has previously appeared in both TV and film projects, with her having been cast in various roles over the course of her career in the industry.

Amid her latest role in AHS: Delicate, we've decided to take a look back at Kim's experience as an actor since her film debut back in 2008. We however haven't included projects where she's been credited as having appeared as herself.

Disaster Movie
Her first role was in the film Disaster Movie (2008) (Grosvenor Park Media/Kobal/REX/Shutterstock)Kim's first role was in Disaster Movie (2008). She played the character Lisa in the film, which parodied the disaster genre. She appeared alongside Matt Lanter, Vanessa Lachey, Gary 'G Thang' Johnson and Crista Flanagan.
The film followed a group of friends as they faced natural disasters and catastrophic events. Kim's character Lisa ended up being killed by a falling meteor, moments after she'd told her pals: "I really have a bad feeling about this."
CSI: NY
She later appeared in an episode of CSI: NY (CBS)The reality TV star later appeared in an episode of Crime Scene Investigation: New York (CSI: NY), which aired on CBS in 2009. She played Debbie Fallon in the episode, which featured in the police procedural's sixth season.
It's said to have focused on the deaths of homeless men who were the subjects of life insurance policies shortly before they died. Debbie is said to have been responsible - reportedly killing at least one of the men herself - alongside Grace Chandler, played by Kim's Disaster Movie co-star Vanessa.
Beyond the Break
Her other credits include a four-episode appearance on Beyond the Break (MARVISTA ENTERTAINMENT)Although her role on CSI: NY covered just a single episode, Kim's said to have enjoyed recurring roles on other TV shows, such as Beyond the Break. She's understood to have appeared on the network Noggin show back in 2009.
She's credited as having played the character in four episodes of the drama series during its third season. The show - which also featured a guest appearance by Drake in the same season - centred on a competitive surfing circuit.
Deep in the Valley
She was also part of the cast for the film Deep in the Valley (2009) (PERSISTENT ENTERTAINMENT)Kim is credited as having played the character Summa Eve in the film Deep in the Valley in the same year (2009). The film - which is said to have also been known as American Hot Babes - has been described as a romantic-comedy.
According to IMDb, the synopsis of the film - which starred Chris Pratt and featured Denise Richards - was: "A mysterious video booth transports two friends to an alternate reality straight out of a pornographic film."
Drop Dead Diva
Kim had a role on the show Drop Dead Diva too (Lifetime Television)Kim later appeared in four episodes of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva in 2012. She played the character Nikki LePree in the legal show, which centred on lawyer Jane (played by Brooke Elliott), whose body is inhabited by the soul of a model.
Nikki featured in the fourth season of the show and was introduced as a relationship guru. She became business partners with Jane's close pal Stacy (April Bowlby). Nikki was later unveiled to have been attempting to scam Stacy.

Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor
She also appeared in the film Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013) (LIONSGATE)She then appeared as the character Ava in Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013). The film - which was produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry - was adapted from the play The Marriage Counselor.
It follows marriage counsellor Judith (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) whose relationship ends up in crisis when she meets a billionaire Harley (Robbie Jones). Kim's character was her co-worker, who at one point gives Judith a makeover.
PAW Patrol: The Movie
She became a voice actor through her role in PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021) (Paramount Pictures)Kim became a voice actor with her role in PAW Patrol: The Movie (2021), which is based on the TV show of a similar name. She provided the voice for poodle Delores, who had ended up in the Fuzzy Buddies Obedience School.
She's set to reprise the role in the upcoming sequel PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie (2023), which is due to be released later this month. It's been reported that her eldest children North West and Saint West will also feature in the film.
American Horror Story: Delicate
She is currently starring on American Horror Story: Delicate which premiered recently (FX)appears in the new season of American Horror Story (AHS). She's understood to play publicist Siobhan in AHS: Delicate and the character works with actor Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts), who wants to pursue parenthood.
The FX show is believed to follow Anna as she plans to have a baby, though it has previously been teased that the character soon begins to suspect that something may be "targeting her and her pursuit of motherhood".
