Inside Kate and William's date night - casual outfits and poignant destination
Prince William and his wife Princess Kate might be one of the most famous couples around – but they still enjoy a low-key romance.
The pair met at St Andrew's University back in September 2001 when the Prince was studying towards a degree in Geography, while Catherine was studying Art History. But their romance didn't start until April of that year when the then Kate Middleton caught his eye during a university fashion show when she modelled a sheer dress.
Fast forward to October 2002 and they became roommates and their romance continued to blossom until they briefly split in March 2007 – although by July, they were an item again. But while they've been married for 12 years, the couple still opt to keep their relationship alive with low-key date nights.

Following a string of engagements, the Prince and Princess were seen leaving Forgan's restaurant in St Andrews. The eatery services a range of Grill and European dishes which are made from sustainable produce.
It's believed the future King and Queen had asked to be seated in a more private area of the eatery close to the back of the restaurant. Speaking previously, Marc, the manager, said: "There was a crowd outside once they left but as far as inside goes it was quiet. There was no pomp and ceremony or fanfare, they were very nice and when they left they were very complimentary."

Marc who was called into work by fellow employees upon their arrival claimed that William and Catherine were recommended the eatery by a society she was a member of while studying at St Andrews. For their romantic date, the Princess opted to wear a pink and white jumper from Campell's of Beauly, a Scottish brand, which she teamed with trainers and a pair of jeans.
But this isn't the only date night the couple have enjoyed over the years. While visiting Birmingham, the Prince disclosed that he and his wife "secretly try lots of curry houses around the country." But the pair were also known to secretly go incognito while they lived at Kensington Palace.
It was reported that the Hollywood Arms in Chelsea had become a firm favourite, with the Princess using a secret door to the swanky pub and restaurant. During their time at university, the Prince and Princess were said to be regulars at their local Pizza Express. They also visited Jahangir, an Indian restaurant on a number of occasions.
