Baldur's Gate 3's highly anticipated Patch 3 is here as the third major update to the game. The update brings with it some well-needed performance updates as well as new features like being able to change your character's appearance.

Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 3 is finally here following the massive delay of a single day. While Larian Studios held players over by announcing that Baldur's Gate 3 Patch 3 would include the highly-requested ability to change your appearance, we finally have the full extent of the Baldur's Gate 3 patch notes now that they've been shared with the community.

The most notable update is performance updates on both PC and PS5. While Baldur's Gate 3 runs perfectly fine for the majority of the experience, the games third act is giving a lot of machines trouble, mainly due to how densely populated the titular city of Baldur's Gate is. Thankfully Larian has finally addressed these issues in the latest patch.

PS5 players will also be getting a fun DualSense update that sees colours of the controller lights match elemental damage types more closely.

And that's everything, hopefully Larian won't have to do much more to get the game to where it needs to be!
