Ekin-Su's career is going from strength to strength

Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has landed a huge reality show gig in a bid to crack America.

The 29-year-old won the ITV2 dating show last year with on-off boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, and the couple went on to star in their own reality series, Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings. She cemented her status as a household name earlier this year, when she signed up for Dancing on Ice, and despite being eliminated in week four, her career has gone from strength to strength after making her debut in the villa.

Now, the Turkish-born star is trying to crack America, and is attempting to win over a new legion of loyal fans by signing up to the US version of The Traitors. According to The Sun, she’s already begun filming the series, alongside big names including Real Housewives Of Miami star Larsa Pippin, former heavyweight champion boxer Deontay Wilder, Bling Empire's Kevin Kreider, Dancing With The Stars professional Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Real Housewives Of Orange County regular Tamra Judge.

Unlike the UK version of the show, the US version features no members of the public, and is made up of famous faces. Scottish actor Alan Cumming presents the show across the pond, and production is underway at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands - the same venue that hosts the British version, presented by Claudia Winkleman. In a bizarre twist, former House of Commons Speaker John Bercow is also starring in the show. The US version follows the same setup as the UK 0 the celebs will be split into Traitors and Faithfuls, and they will have to lie to the other contestants to win the show and $250,000.

Despite winning Love Island last year, Ekin-Su and Davide sadly split in June, with the Italian hunk taking to his Instagram Stories to share a brief statement on the end of their relationship. “Ekin-Su and I are no longer together. I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best. I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in any way possible,” he wrote.

However, in August they sparked rumours they had reconciled as they jetted off to Turkey to celebrate Ekin-Su’s birthday. Speaking about their relationship at the National Television Awards earlier this month, Davide refused to confirm if they were back together for good. “We're just enjoying each other's company,” he told reporters, as Ekin-Su added: “Leave it to the imagination. You can label it whatever you want to label it but we are enjoying each other's company and we're very happy.”
