EA FC 24 UT Champions Weekend League rewards guide as red picks removed
The official release of EA FC 24 is upon us, and the new rewards for Champions Play-Offs and Champions Finals in Ultimate Team have been revealed.
With EA FC 24 the start of a new era for EA Sports, we expected major changes would be made to differentiate the game from FIFA 23 and past FIFA titles. A new name, new look menus and more updates have been made in EA FC 24, and changes have also been made to EA's most popular mode in Ultimate Team, UT Champions, also known as Weekend League.
Champions is an ultra-competitive, time-limited multiplayer mode in Ultimate Team where players will battle it out against the best of the best for a chance to earn some big rewards. From packs to player picks, there's no better method to earn the biggest players than playing Champions.
Unlike other game modes in Ultimate Team, not everyone can play the Champions Finals, with players having to earn qualification points before advancing through the Champions Play-Offs. You also can't play Champions whenever you want, with the competition usually running throughout each weekend.
Here are the updated rewards for Champions in EA FC 24, as well as how to qualify for the competition.

EA FC 24 Champions – new rewards for Play-Offs and Finals
The biggest update made to Champions rewards by EA has been the removal of red player picks, the infamous untradable items that could only be earned through completing Champions games. Instead, EA has replaced these with minimum rating player picks which have proved a success amongst Ultimate Team players in the past.
Like in FIFA 23, players will receive four points in Champions for a win and one point for a loss. There are no draws in Champions, with extra time and penalties deciding a winner if the game is tied after 90 minutes.
FC 24 UT Champions Qualification
To qualify for Champions, players must first play Division Rivals to earn Champions Qualification Points, and once they have hit the threshold of points needed, they will automatically be entered into the FUT Champions Play-Offs. In EA FC 24 Ultimate Team, players must earn 1,250 Champions Qualification Points in Division Rivals to enter the Play-Offs.
FC 24 UT Champions Play-Offs
To reach the Champions Finals and qualify for the big rewards, players must first qualify through the Play-Offs. The Champions Play-Offs can be played whenever players want, and there are a total of 10 games to play.
To qualify for the Champions Finals, players must achieve a total of 20 points from the 10 games, meaning they need to win a minimum of four of the 10 games. If players earn enough points, they will unlock a Finals Qualification Token which will allow the player to access the Champions Finals.
Players will also receive rewards for taking part in the Champions Play-Offs, with the more points earned, the better the rewards. Here's a full list of every rank in the EA FC 24 Champions Play-Offs and the rewards on offer for each,

Champions Play-Offs re-qualification and entry
If you enter the Champions Play-Offs but fail to win the four games needed to qualify, you will need to go back to Division Rivals to earn enough Champions Qualification Points to try and enter again. In EA FC 24 Ultimate Team Season 1, you can enter the Champions Play-Offs seven times, and if you use up all of your entries, you must wait until the next season to enter again.
