Weddings are supposed to be the happiest day of your life, when you declare your love for each other in front of your family and friends. However, for one bride it turned out to be nothing like she'd imagined after exposing her cheating fiancé on the big day.

It all started the night before the heading, which is normally filled with anticipation about seeing the groom at the end of the aisle. However, the bride's stomach was churning for a whole other reason, after a five-word text message she'd seen flipped her whole world upside down.

As the bride-to-be was sipping a glass of bubbles with her bridesmaids, she received a series of screenshots from a number she didn't recognise, revealing that her partner was being unfaithful. Revealing the texts in a tell-all piece on Whimn, the anonymous woman explained she had received a text with the message: "I wouldn't marry him. Will you?," along with a series of heartbreaking screenshots.

The screenshots included racy conversations between the woman's husband and the mystery woman, including selfies of them together. They were dated from months to only days before.

One message read: "This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game." Another said: "Your body is f***ing incredible. And s*** do you know how to use it."

He told the woman, who apparently looked like the exact opposite of his bride-to-be, that he had "never had this kind of connection before". The woman said she burst into tears and showed her girlfriends the screenshots, who said she should ring her fiancé and call the wedding off - but instead she took matters into her own hands.

She didn't mention the texts, and the next day she "walked down the aisle with leaded feet". She added: "My dream dress now just a costume. As he saw my face he knew this was not an ecstatic woman on her big day, but he had no idea what was coming".

She arrived at the venue with no sleep, too shocked to be angry that she now couldn't marry the man she loved. A ripple of shock passed through the crowd as she announced: "There will be no wedding today It seems [fiancé's name] is not who I thought he was".

The woman then claims she put down her flowers to reveal her phone and read the messages to their family and friends - including the five-word message: "Your body is f***ing incredible" - watching the colour drain from her fiancé's face.

He then skulked out of the church with his best man following behind him. "There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts," she said to the crowd, who "awkwardly" applauded. The newly-single bride said she then enjoyed "one hell of a party".
