Sue Radford has broken her silence on her daughter Millie’s baby news amid the bitter feud that engulfed the famous family.
The 48-year-old, who is mum to 22 children, has added another grandchild to her brood, as she’s already grandmother to 13 kids. The latest addition to the Radford family was announced on Tuesday, as Sue’s daughter Millie gave birth to Elodie-Jade, and the 22 Kids and Counting star praised the 21-year-old in a sweet comment on social media.
Millie shared the news of her daughter’s safe arrival in a post on Instagram, and in the slideshow of snaps, mum Sue was seen next to the birthing pool in the delivery room. Our perfect new addition. Elodie-Jade weighing 7.10lb Born 19/09/23,” she captioned the touching pictures. Sue confirmed the family’s feud was well and truly over as she revealed she was Millie’s birthing partner, alongside her daughter’s partner Harley. “Aww Millie she’s just so beautiful I’m so proud of you you did amazing bringing her into the world thank you so much for asking me to be with you love you,” she wrote.
Sue was by her daughter's side when she gave birth (Instagram)Harley also thanked Sue for helping Millie throughout the tough labour, and shared the news of his third child in an emotional post on Instagram. “Couldn't be anymore proud of you with how amazing you did delivering our beautiful girl into the world I love use so much my family is now complete!” he gushed. “Also thank you so much sue for helping millie get through it, also i wouldn't of got through it without you.” Sue replied in the comments, writing: “Aww Harley she’s just adorable. I’m so happy for you all, what a beautiful addition to the family.”
The feud began earlier this year, when Sue and husband Noel took some of their massive brood to Walt Disney World in Florida. Sharing snaps and videos from the airport as they prepared to board the long-haul flight, Sue and the kids - and some of her grandchildren - were excited to head off on the expensive trip. However, daughter Millie responded to the holiday, and reshared some of Sue’s photos on her Instagram Stories as she criticised her mum for leaving out her children Ophelia and Chester.

None of the other family members commented on the post, and Millie took the post down after an hour. However, Sue being involved in her daughter’s birthing experience is a sign that the feud between mum and daughter is over, and many of the famous family’s fans sent messages of congratulations as news of Elodie-Jade’s arrival was announced. “Congratulations great to see your mom back with you x love her name,” one follower wrote. “Ohhhhh WOW welcome to the world baby Elodie-Jade. What a BEAUTY you are. BIG congratulations Millie and v well done. Lovely to see that sue and Harley were by your side sweetheart,” another added.
