Khloe Kardashian has revealed the lasting mark left by her skin cancer scare.
The mum-of-two has shared pictures of the huge indentation left in her cheek after she underwent surgery to have a melanoma removed in October 2022. After sharing the whole journey on The Kardashians, thankfully surgeons were able to "get everything" and she is now "clear" of skin cancer. The 39-year-old reality star said she has been waiting "patiently" for almost a year to do something about the mark.
And now after getting the all clear from her doctor, Khloe will undergo cosmetic injections to plump up the area. "For those who do not know I had a skin cancer scare on my face," she told fans on Instagram. "We had to remove a tumor from my cheek, I was Ieft with an indention. I am definitely not complaining because I would rather have an indention than melanoma any day."

(khloekardashian/Instagram)Khloe now revealed that is having the indent filled with cosmetic injections. "I waited for over nine months to get this filled by the way," she said. "Patience is everything and of course we have to make sure medically everything is all safe."
She added that the filler won't last forever and that getting her cheek filled will now "always be something" she has to do to maintain a smooth appearance. "I look insane in these pics but I’m just happy that my face is slowly coming back together ha," she added.

Khloe thanked her Beverly Hills surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher for removing the tumor and leaving her with as small a scar as possible. "Not only did he remove the tumor and made sure that I am completely cancer free but he did such a f—ing stellar job on making my scar as small and beautiful as possible," she told fans.
After being so open with her health woes, Khloe also urged her fans to get regular skin cancer checks. "I never imagined that this tiny spec would turn into skin cancer and I can’t fathom what could have possibly happened had I not gone to the doctor to get it looked at," she said.
Khloe previously opened up on another cancer scare she had during her teens, saying: "At 19 years old, I had melanoma on my back, and I had a surgery to remove that as well, so I am precomposed to melanomas. Even those who are not, we should be checking all the time. I am someone who wears sunscreen every single day, religiously so no one is exempt from these things. Please take this seriously and do regular self-exams as well as your annual checkups."
