YouTube star KSI has once again returned a negative drugs test in camp as the build-up to his pay-per-view super-fight with Tommy Fury next month continues.
The social media sensation and his professional boxer rival insisted on extra testing for their grudge match at the AO Arena in Manchester on October 14. And they have both returned negative tests already in camp, with KSI now showing up free of any substances for a second time.
Sanctioning body The PBA have been taking to social media to share drug test results for the fight, and opted to do so again on Wednesday as they posted a VADA letter showing another negative test for KSI. It is his second test to be made public, with Fury having one released to date.
The email from VADA President Margaret Goodman, MD read: "This letter is to advise you that one or more specimens collected for the below-named athlete have been analyzed for performance-enhancing drugs through the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association program. Results for the dates listed below are complete." That is followed by proof of a September 11 test for KSI showing negative.

"We will keep the PBA, ABC [Association of Boxing Commissions] and Wasserman Boxing/Misfits Boxing/Crossover Boxing and BoxRec apprised of all results of both A and B samples," the email continued, with many fans noting that BoxRec do not currently recognise PBA sanctioned events, although promoter Mams Taylor has said they plan to rectify that.
There is minimal history of doping in influencer boxing to date, although earlier in the year Spanish fighter Viruzzz returned a positive test for a banned substance after his knockout win over DK Money. He later admitted to using performance enhancers and has been hit with a ban and fine, as well as having the result overturned.
KSI vs Fury will serve as the co-headliner along with Logan Paul vs Dillon Danis, which has had concerns raised over the lack of testing being used. Danis called for USADA or Olympic-level testing to be used, to which Paul responded that he must take a test for Sexually Transmitted Infections, but neither have been implemented.
However, there will be the a small amount of testing done, with Taylor telling fans on a Twitter space over the weekend that they will be given the same testing that caught Viruzzz. Paul has denied having ever taking steroids in a number of podcast appearances in the lead-up to the fight.
