Khloe Kardashian is facing criticism online after posting a contest for luxury items on her Instagram.
The reality TV star, 38, shared a video of her standing in her massive closet in front of various designer bags and boxes. Wearing ripped jeans, a red halter top, and a cross necklace, Khloe held an orange Birkin bag in her hands as she spoke to the camera.
"It's Khloe and it's giveaway time," she started off. "High Key Clout and I are so excited to be giving away some fabulous prizes. This Birkin bag, all of these other prizes could potentially be yours." She explained the rules, which were also highlighted in her caption.

The contest prizes included iMacs and designer hand bags (Getty Images)To enter, you have to follow @highkeyclout on Instagram and then follow everyone that account follows - 128 people at time of publication. Then you tag a friend in Khloe's post, and that's it. You get an extra entry if you post Khloe's video on your story and tag High Key Clout.

"Everything is divine and you're not going to regret it," she said. "High Key, myself, we want to bless some people. Look how cute this Birkin is," she added while shaking the bag side to side for the camera. "Happy entering the contest," she ended the video saying.
Her caption stated the prizes include three Louis Vuitton bags, three Gucci bags, a Birkin bag, and two Apple iMacs. But while it sounds like a great contest, many of her fans were not impressed.

The "too good to be true" nature of the giveaway has seemed to make some of her 311 million Instagram followers suspicious. High Key Clout, the account Khloe is partnering with, claims on its Instagram page that people have won these kinds of contest before with them. In their story highlights, they share winners of past contests, sharing their username and what they won, like an iPhone or Louis Vuitton bag. The account also has 1.2 million followers.
This isn't the first time Khloe has posted this kind of contest, nor is she the only Kardashian who's participated. Last September, Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian's ex, were sued for $40 million (£32 million) after the plaintiffs in the case called their promotion a "fake lottery scam." TMZ obtained documents in this case that showed there were legitimate winners who later received prizes.
