Bruno Fernandes has established himself as one of Manchester United's most influential players since joining the club in 2020, but he's also become one of the most polarising figures in the Premier League.
Despite being criticised in some quarters for his negative body language during tough moments, Fernandes, 29, was still Erik ten Hag's top choice to succeed Harry Maguire as the club's new captain.

Given that Fernandes isn't afraid to express himself, it's no surprise that some of his Manchester United teammates have hit back at him in the past.
Jadon Sancho drew the ire of Fernandes during the 1-0 win over Aston Villa back in May and the forward was spotted telling his captain to "stop moaning" during the first half.
Casemiro also had his issues with Fernandes on the same afternoon. The midfield duo were having a heated exchange as they left the pitch - even though the three points had already been secured.

Portuguese publication Record shared a leaked WhatsApp voice note of Fernandes questioning the attitude of his colleagues, underlining how much the midfielder expects of his teammates and the standards he holds them to.
Fernandes is quoted as saying: "Bro, I don't say anything! Honestly, if you want me to tell you, I'd rather not comment on anything. I think very badly of some of the attitudes of some players. Actually not a certain attitude, it's an attitude that does not exist.
"There are players who have no attitude here, bro. They don't want to be here, they don't want to play. If they don't want to be here then f*** off, let them say they don't want to play. They spend a year here getting money, and then they f*** off, bro. S*** attitude bro, for f**** sake."
